The Death of Perfect Photos

For years, photography felt like it had to be perfect. The sharpest photo, the cleanest edit, the smoothest skin, the most polished version of everything.

But I think people are starting to want something that feels more real.

Motion blur, grain, softer focus, and the little in-between moments can make a photo feel more honest. Not every image has to look perfectly posed or overly edited to be beautiful. Sometimes the photo that feels the most real is the one people connect with the most.

I do think there is a balance. People still want beautiful photos, but they also want photos that feel like them. The challenge is finding that space between polished and personal.

It is not about being sloppy. It is about being intentional and letting the photo feel lived-in, natural, and real.
